Oh Joy to wake up in JERUSALEM on a Sunday morning !! It is already 3 PM and for them it must be an extraordinary day ! For the Lord says - This city shall be to me a Name of Joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth...(Jer.33:9)
They were to begin at the Mount of Olives.
Then walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane.
O what blessings as they visit the City of David --
Hezekiah's Tunnel ---
and the Pool of Siloam....
This afternoon they should in in the Israel Museum,
where they will have a chance to visit the Model of Jerusalem ...
The Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed
and the ossuary of Caiphas
They will conclude what I would imagine to be an overwhelmingly emotional day at Yad Vashem, the museum of the Holocaust.
