Our Friends in Israel - Day 5, March 4, 2008

Today is to be spent around the Sea of Galilee
where Jesus spent most of his public life.

Using a replica of a wooden fishing boat from the time of the disciples, they are to sail out onto the Sea of Galilee.

They will stop in Capernaum, where Jesus taught in the synagogue built by the centurion whose servant Jesus healed just by speaking the Word.

Then it is on to the Mount of Beatitudes.

Driving around the Sea, they will visit Tabgha, where one of the feedings of the multitudes took place.

In the afternoon they will have the privilege of stopping by the Jordan River for a baptism service.
